maryland and delaware, collectively, are places of no significance. however, they’re part of the 50, and they’ve now been moved into the ‘been there done that’ column of our u.s romp.
the list is starting to look pretty good.
we didn’t get to baltimore in maryland – much to our benefit, from what i’ve since been told – but instead we stayed in wilmington, the largest city in the 2nd smallest state, deleware. we did manage to find excellent beer and coffee, so it was a happy place to be.
we also went hiking (read; short leisurely strolls in the bush) in brandywine creek state park and elk neck state park in chesapeake bay.
